ParivarBazaar began as a necessity to survive a crisis. During the COVID-19 lockdown, Trans people were further marginalized when it came to access to food, housing and essentials. To get past this dire situation, products that were sourced or made by Trans people were sold at online events. Adapting this model to become sustainable, ParivarBazaar is realizing that effort to support the marginalized community for the long term. Our products are unique, ethically sourced and affordably procured. This allows us to provide the best value to our customers, while building economic equity for Trans Gender Diverse communities of color. Our products are primarily made by Trans artists at Aravani Art Project, Trans artisans at Moitri Sanjog and sourced by Trans entrepreneurs at TransVision and TransEquality Society.
